Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man.
New Year‘s resolutions. They’re made to be broken. Still, people make them. A New Year brings new hope and a fresh start. But what do we need to change? I have a list, which I culled from Dale Carnegie. Which of these would you like to adopt for yourself?
I will not utilize company resources or company time for my personal purposes.
I will not pretend to be sick to escape my responsibilities.
I will not engage in negative gossip.
I will not share confidential information that has been entrusted to me.
I will not fail to complete things which I promised to do.
I will not withhold information that other people need.
I will not provide second-rate goods or services.
I will not resort to dishonesty in order to make a profit.
I will not accept inappropriate gifts.
I will not take credit for something that someone else did.
I will not fail to admit and correct my mistakes.
